BMW M42 High Lift Double Valve Springs and Retainers Set

Set of 16x high lift double valve springs, with steel retainers to suit BMW M42. This pack suits the solid lifter conversion package specifically for high lift / high duration Cat Cams.

Specify in checkout comments whether engine has 6mm or 7mm valve stems.

Kit contains:

- Springs (Double, Gold Version) x16
- Lower retainers x16
- Upper retainers x16 (specify for 6mm or 7mm at checkout)

Notes:

- The camshafts must turn smooth in the cylinder head, provide free travel by machining where needed
- Distance between valve seal and retainer at full lift must be 0.6mm at least
- Minimum valve spring travel of 1.0mm at full lift must be provided
- Distance between valve and piston 1.0mm (pref. 1.5mm). check 5-15° before TDC on exhaust, and after TDC on intake
