BMW 188mm LSD 4-clutch 1.5-Way 25% / 40% (E30 E34 E36)
A very rare factory 1.5-way unit. A 1.5-Way LSD with 65 degree ramps on coast and 55 degree ramps on drive. Four new genuine clutches are fitted. New outer plates are fitted as required. These units have 25% lockup on coast and 40% lockup on drive. They offer the same smooth engagement and strong torque-holding ability of the custom 4-clutch unit, but with less lockup on coast for sharper turn-in.
These can be either M12 or M14. They are a lucky dip. Whatever is in stock will be supplied. If you need M12 and receive M14, the diff builder will use 12-14mm sleeves.
This is a 188mm LSD unit (not whole diff) to fit most E28, E30, E32, E34 and E36 with brand new clutches fitted. Fits the 6 cylinder models only, or a 4cyl model if it has the larger 8-bolt/188mm diff, which is a direct swap. Guaranteed good physical and operational condition. Will change the whole car! A very significant improvement in cornering speed and general performance. A must-have for track-day cars, club racers and enthusiasts.
These LSDs are fully rebuilt, cleaned, inspected and oiled. Worn components have been replaced, steel surfaces machined where necessary. Old bearings have usually been removed. These are ready to be installed and backed by a warranty.
Upgrades: The Chromoly-Vanadium Top Cap upgrade is an excellent choice for track cars and aggressive road cars where diff failure is not an option.
