BMW 188mm Diff Rebuild Kit (1983-1998)
Contains all of the parts required to change a ring and pinion, and install an LSD carrier. All bearings, seals, o-rings, crush washer, lock plate etc are included. This is the most complete kit available anywhere in the world. All components are OEM grade or genuine. Don't attempt a build without it. Fits most early vehicles including BMW E28, E30, E32, E34, E36, M3 3.0L. This kit fits early differentials. For 1998 on and see the 188K kit, and from 2008 on see the 188L/LW kit.

OEM bearing brands fitted to BMWs include: Koyo, Timken, SKF and FAG. National and NTN are excellent substitutes and may be supplied. They are all exceptional OEM grade products and are all suitable for racing. Seals include Corteco, CFW, Febi, Victor Reinz and Kaco. Only OEM-grade and genuine seals are supplied. No locally sourced Chinese made seals are stocked or supplied at Diff Lab. Seals may be stamped BMW or not. Most pinion seals are stamped BMW. In the case that they are not, they are OEM-grade items sourced from German manufacturers who supply to BMW.
