BMW 188LW Ring & Pinion 4.10 Motorsport
Motorsport Crown and Pinion to suit late model 6 cylinder BMWs including E86, E90, E92, F2x, F3x. Many 6 cylinder BMWs manufactured after 2008 use these. These fit the later vehicles which take a 188L/LW gear set with a bolted input flange. These do not fit vehicles with taper bearings, which take a 188k gear set instead. These do not fit vehicles which have a spline input (50mm nut).
Why not add an LSD while you're changing the gear ratio? It's a good time to install and LSD while you're there. If installing locally, you will also need a differential rebuild kit.

*Bearings may still be installed. These must be discarded. Gears are generally used unless specified otherwise. They are removed from working differentials. These must be installed either by me or by a professional and competent diff builder. Diff Lab is one of the only workshops in Australia that builds late model BMW differentials, and has the special tools and shims available for these.
