Isotropic Superfinishing

Isotropic Superfinishing for:

  • Ring and pinion sets
  • Engine parts
  • LSD internals
  • Bearings
  • External engine components

Achieve cooler running temps, less oil contamination and more reliability with isotropic superfinished components. At Diff Lab we can superfinish crankshafts, gears, followers, springs, rods and just about anything else. The process removes very little material, and will not affect bearing clearances by a noticeable amount.

Costs:

Crankshaft $200

Ring and Pinion $175

Small pile of misc engine parts including springs $150

Set of Rods $175

Turn-around is 1-3 days for most parts, and around 5-7 days for crankshafts.

Examples

These BMW S54 gears, springs and followers achieved an excellent finish.

This is a BMW 188mm 4.27 ring and pinion which were a little tired. The superfinshing process has brought them up better than new.
